If we can get hungry, then He can make us holy. Then He can put the pieces of our broken lives back together. But our hunger is the key. So when you find yourself digging for crumbs in the carpet at the House of Bread, you should be praying, “Lord, stir up a firestorm of hunger in me.”

Get Hungry For God! Our hunger is a key factor in God moving in our lives. Matthew 5:6 KJV Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. When we get hungry in the natural, there are many sources that are available to potentially satisfy that hunger. I can get some fast food, grab a snack or prepare a meal. Not all sources of food will satisfy the hunger. Some sources will satisfy only for a moment. Others will not work at all and some will give us what we need to allow the hunger to pass. Our lives are broken without Christ. However even living as a Christian with no hunger for God our lives can still be partially or even greatly broken. When we get hungry for God. When we seek Him with hunger, He will satisfy our spiritual hunger for fulfillment. We need to stop eating the crumbs on the floor or leftovers from previous encounters or even others encounters. it is time to get hungry {like we are starving) for God. Stop settling for drops of His presence in your life. We need to stop settling for mere sparks of his fire or burning embers from fires past. We need to rse up, get hungry and pray Lord Stir Up A Firestorm of hunger In me! Lest stop limiting the amount and level of God's presence i our lives and pursue Him like we are starving and He is the morsel of food on the planet! Seek Him, Seek His Fire, Seek His power, Seek HIs presence, but most importantly Seek His Face! (P.K.)
