God is looking for someone who is willing to tie a rope around an ankle and say, “If I perish, I perish; but I am going to see the King. I want to do everything I can to go behind that veil. I’m going to put on the blood, I’m going to repent, I’m going to do everything I can because I’m tired of knowing about Him. I want to know Him. I’ve got to see His face.”

Reflection by Pastor Kevin
God is looking for someone, anyone who is willing to find Him at all costs. Willing to lay down their life(desires, motives, ambitions) and seek Him where He can be found. He is looking for people who even if it meant they would die, they seek and would find the King.
Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
Heb 10:21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
Heb 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Prior to the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ the Jewish High Priest would enter in the Holy of Holies (where the Ark of the Covenant and God's presence was kept) once a year to sprinkle blood of a sacrificial lamb on the Mercy Seat of God for the sins of the entire nation. When Jesus was crucified and shed HIs blood the veil that surrounded the Holy of Holies was torn. Because of the crucifixion and shed blood of Jesus we are not limited to, one person, once a year entering into the presence of God, we as believers can enter into His presence. Hallelujah!!!
Exodus 28:33 You shall make pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet fabric all around its hem, with gold bells between them;
Exodus 28:34 a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, all around the [bottom] hem of the robe.
Exodus 28:35 Aaron shall wear the robe when he ministers, and its sound shall be heard when he goes [alone] into the Holy Place before the LORD, and when he comes out, so that he will not die there.
Exodus 28:36 "You shall also make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, 'Holy to the LORD.
When The High Priest would enter the Holy of Holies he would wear a specific robe just for that event. The robe was of a specific design which had bells around the hem and a plate that read "Holy to the Lord" The bells were there so that the priest could be heard moving around on his way into and out of the Holy of Holies. Jewish tradition says that they would tie a rope around the ankle or waist of the priest before he entered. The reason for the rope was because, god can not be present with sin. If there was sin in the priests life he would die in the Holy of Holies and have to dragged out.
Thanks be to Jesus that we are able to enter into His presence on our own and not just limited to once a year. What an amazing blessing. This blessing however does not come easy. Yes we can freely pray and have fellowship with the Spirit of God, but to truly enter into HIs presence our flesh must die. Our will, our emotions, our desires must die at the veil, the veil that was torn by our Lord's death. The veil of His Holiness. To enter in and pass by the veil, we must be willing to die, die to ourselves and submitted to living in and for Him. Our lives and hearts should have the name plate of "Holy To The Lord" engraved on them. Are you willing to die? Are you so hungry for Him that even if it were to cost you your life you would do what it takes to seek Him and find Him? My prayer and hope would be that we all would be able to say " I am so hungry for you God, I need you, I need your presence, no matter what the cost, I'm Going in! (P.K.)
