We want God to change the world. But He cannot change the world until He can change us. In our present state we are in no position to affect anything. But if we will submit to the Master Potter, He will make us—all of us—into what He needs us to be. He may remake the vessel of our flesh many times, but if we will submit to the Potter’s touch, He can turn us into vessels of honor, power, and life. After all, wasn’t He the One who turned unlearned fishermen into world-changers and hated tax collectors into fearless revivalists? If He did it once, He can do it again!
Reflection By Pastor Kevin
Jeremiah 18:3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
Jerermiah 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make KJV

We are all clay in the potter's hands. We are all forever being shaped, molded and transformed into what He wants us to be. Sometimes when the potter finds an imperfection in the pottery, He has to start over. There will be times in our lives that we are on the wheel and the Lord will find a blemish in our vessel and have remake us. However, be encouraged as long as we are on the wheel we are in good hands. Whatever the Lord wants to make us into will be good. Sometimes he may have to remove an attitude, belief, motive or misconception from us. Sometimes He will have to remove some flesh that has mixed itself within the clay of our lives. Stay on the wheel and let the potter work. Remain moldable, flexible, and most of all humble and when the potter is finished it will be good! (P.K.)
